About Irpina

Irpinia is a region of Southern Italy; Irpino/a is the adjective describing someone or something from that region. My grandmother and mother were born there and in a way Irpina is a homage to them. Maternal bloodlines are so powerful and I have a special connection with my grandmother because I carry her name.

My nonna (grandmother) was a devout Catholic, but also a profound believer of more ancient traditions, like many Italians from the South. This is where the inspiration for my jewellery comes - combining the sacred with the magical.
